If you know of any mistakes in this data, please let me know. Thanks.
As of 2005, 92 carefully-restored editions of the 157 extant recordings are available on excellent BBC CDs.
Until 2000 we had only 156, then The Hastings Flyer Robbed was found!

I have something to add about the A.E. Matthews appearance at age 88 in 8 / 25, in which near the end he ignores the script and even the plot and speaks extemporaneously, poking fun at the Goons and the script as he goes, while Spike tries repeatedly to get back to the script. At the Brighton GSPS convention in 1997, the one time I met Spike, I mentioned to him that I found the whole thing hilarious. Spike was very bitter about it and regretted inviting AEM on the show. Spike never saw the humor in this unprofessional trashing of his hard work on the script.

The BBC has a web page of missing episodes. They list many shows that are extant, but I think they're looking for specific broadcast versions of those (with different editing).
