Open Eudora HTML message as a web page
A workaround for Mac EudoraÕs inability
to properly render HTML email messages
From Eudora, easily open a message in your web browser, where it will be rendered properly.
Install
- Download this disk image file and open it.
Doing so will mount a volume on which there will be a file called OpenEudoraMessageAsWebPage.service.
- In the
Library folder under your home folder, make sure there is a Services folder. Create one if not.
- Drag OpenEudoraMessageAsWebPage.service into the Library/Services folder under your home folder.
Use
- In Eudora, open a message.
- Click the BLAH BLAH BLAH button at left in the message window's toolbar.

- Select All.

- In the menu, select .
The future
The Mac Eudora we know and love (except for the glaring HTML problem) is being replaced with an opensource version that will use the same HTML rendering component that is found in the Firefox browser and in the Thunderbird email program.
Thanks
Many thanks to waffle software,
maker of the ThisService application,
which made it easy for me to create this Mac OS X System Services item.
